Ronaldo Scores Hat Trick As Real Madrid Win 8-2 Against Deportivo

Nigeria Informer : Real Madrid came into the match with a point to prove and proved it in style as Ronaldo scored two goals either side of Rodriguez’s 25 yard howler which riffled into the top right corner. Real Madrid ended the half leading by 3 goals to nil. In the second half, Derpotivo were awarded a penalty when the ball was judged to have come in contact with Sergio Ramos’ arm in the box.

Medunjanin scored the resulting spot kick sending Casillas the wrong way and restoring hope to Deportivo La Coruna fans. That hope was soon extinguished as Bale’s 66th minute strike off the post after some good work by Marcelo quieted Deportivo despite their strong start to the second half.

Bale then made it two in the 75th minute, picking up Isco’s pass in the box before releasing a thumping effort into the top right corner. Three minutes later, Ronaldo completed his hat trick as some terrible defending on the part of the La Coruna players gifted the ball to isco who found Ronaldo at the back post and the former Manchester United man made Deportivo pay.

Touche pulled one back for Deportivo with a precise header past Casillas before Chicharito scored a sensational volley after receiving a pass from Isco in the 88th minute. Chicharito completed the scoring when his deflected shot looped past Lux in the La Coruna goal.

Real Madrid have sent out a warning with their last two results and would be hoping they can keep the momentum well into the season.
